Well, not so much her, perhaps, but the whole ... premise of the house party. I felt like I was just badly paraphrasing <i>Jane Eyre</i> and that it wasn't modern enough. I mean, a house party that takes weeks? People are too busy for that, even if they're ludicrously rich. To write it, I really need to sit down and plan it and THEN write. So I've thrown in the towel.<br /><br />Second project also seems to go a bit down the pan, but that's because we're two writing, and I'm reliant on my writing partner to respond, and when she doesn't respond ... well, it doesn't go anywhere.
