I guess it's gett...So much truth in this post!<br /><br />I guess it's getting the balance right between basing it on reality, while not letting that reality consume your fiction. <br /><br />I have a feeling I let some of 'myself' seep into every character I write, but I think it can't be helped, because as you say as the writer we end up being the filter as well.
